Rim your glasses with Tajin salt. Slide a lime slice around the rim of your glass. Pour a small amount of tajin on a plate. Rim the glass with the salt.
Juice the blood oranges. You will need 2 ounces of juice per cocktail.
Shake the Mezcalrita. Fill a shaker with ice. Add the Mezcal, Cointreau, blood orange juice, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake until the shaker starts to frost up.
Serve the cocktail. Pour the cocktail into the glass, including the ice. Garnish with a fresh blood orange slice.
